Think about what triggers you to purge. Is it eating unhealthy food, eating too much, or just simply eating? Do certain emotions or events make you throw up, regardless of what you ate? I would suggest maybe keeping a journal and track when you do. Write down what you’re feeling or if something significant just happened and when it happened. Or even if you just ate something you feel guilty about. Maybe it will help give you some insight as to why you want to keep purging and see if it’s something specific, along with how often it’s occurring of it. Of course keep it in a safe place where no one can see it (parents stumbling upon that kinda thing is never good….). Can you talk to anyone about this? Sometimes just getting it out helps. Know that whatever it is, you are important and worth living a healthy lifestyle. You can control this once you figure out the root of the problem. It may seem hard but it is possible, especially when dealing with some of our deepest issues. Usually stuff like this is triggered by an outside source and this is just the reaction to it so finding the outside source is key.
